I have never thought of myself as a graphic artist. Yet, through the years I have created various forms of digital media such as cartographic/GIS maps, photorealistic landscape visualizations, PowerPoint presentations, and a few pamphlets/posters. Visual arts can appear in different ways. When I was in art school there was this big distinction between fine arts and commercial arts. At that time, I identified as a fine artist. Now in 2021, I don’t recognize for myself the difference. With digital media, you can incorporate all kinds of imagery forms.
So, I would like to show off some of the so-called “commercial art” that I have created over the years./span>
